Several businesses and residents have received calls and messages relating to payments and disconnects. While we do send notices and make calls to members regarding disconnection of service, we urge anyone receiving such calls to call us at our main number to discuss a resolution and not send monies to any other place.

Members have also reported cases of receiving a phone call warning that WOEC crews are on their way to install a new meter and a several hundred dollar fee will be required to keep their power on. This is not a call coming from West Oregon Electric.

Please let other members know so they do not fall for this scam. If you receive a questionable phone call such as this, we advise you to hang up and call us directly at 503-429-3021.
