To Our Members:
You are invited to attend the annual meeting of the members of West Oregon Electric Cooperative, Inc. on Saturday, 15 August 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Cabin in Vernonia, located in Hawkins Park off Bridge Street at 901 Park Drive, Vernonia, OR 97064. Ample parking is available at this location.
The purpose for the annual meeting is:
- To elect directors to serve three-year terms for Districts 3 and 7. You now have the option to vote electronically; however, a mail-in ballot accompanies this
- To hear and consider the reports of officers and
- To transact other business that shall properly come before the membership.
The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. for registration. The business meeting will start at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by lunch and a door prize raffle. Please fill out your ballot, and then follow the instructions printed on the secrecy envelope, or follow the instructions to cast your vote electronically. Paper ballots must be delivered to West Oregon Electric Cooperative BEFORE 11:00 a.m. on August 13, 2026. Ballots received in unsigned envelopes will be disqualified.
For 2026, the Board of Directors have voted to adopt the policy of a one-time $5.00 bill credit to any primary account member who votes for the annual meeting election. If you are voting as a joint account, only one $5.00 bill credit will be applied. Members with multiple meters or accounts will receive only one $5.00 credit in total.
