West Oregon Electric Cooperative Lineworker Scholarship

West Oregon Electric Cooperative (WOEC) is offering a $4,000 scholarship to support individuals pursuing a career in electrical linework through the Vocational Outside Line Training Academy (VOLTA).

Scholarship Eligibility

• Applicants must be members of WOEC or have a parent or guardian who is a current member.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment in a line college program and possess a high school diploma or GED.

Scholarship Details

• Award: The $4,000 scholarship will be paid directly to VOLTA on behalf of the recipient and must be applied toward tuition. If the recipient exits the program before completing the funding period, any unused portion of the scholarship will be refunded to WOEC.
• Duration: The scholarship must be utilized within 24 months of being awarded.

• Ensure all application materials are neat, typed, and free of grammatical errors.
• Include an official copy of your high school transcripts or GED.
