Welcome to West Oregon Electric Cooperative, and thank you for joining as a new member. As a member, you’re part owner—not just a customer. This guide gives you the essentials on benefits, assistance, outages, rates, and the policies that shape your cooperative.

Round Up Program

Operation Round Up is a voluntary, member-supported program that lets you turn spare change into meaningful local help: each month your WOEC bill is rounded up to the next whole dollar, and those extra cents are donated to Oregon Energy Fund and returned to qualifying WOEC members as energy assistance. Most members give only a few dollars a year, but together it adds up to real support for neighbors who need it. You can enroll, choose a fixed monthly amount, or make a one-time gift.

Report an Outage

When the power goes out, we want to hear from you right away. Reporting an outage helps our crews locate problems faster and restore service safely. Our Outage Center includes how to report outages, what information is helpful when you call, and what to expect during restoration. Your safety matters most—please treat all downed lines as energized and keep a safe distance.

If you are having trouble paying your electric bill, you are not alone—and help is available. Our Energy Assistance Program page lists the organizations and programs that can assist members facing hardship, along with the right phone numbers and contact details. Please reach out early if you need support; the sooner you contact an assistance provider or our office, the more options you will have.
