AMR benefits members in a few important ways. It lowers costs by reducing the labor and travel needed for manual readings, and those savings help keep rates affordable. It also improves billing accuracy by cutting down on misreads. During outages, AMR helps us locate problems faster, which supports quicker restoration and better overall reliability with fewer blinks and surges.
