West Oregon Electric is a “not for profit” cooperative, and provides electricity to areas that other companies would not serve due to the rough terrain and large areas with small population.

Questions are being asked about our current rates and the last rate increase. Will use this opportunity to remind everyone of the Board’s rate decision in 2010 and how it impacts the rates today. The WOEC Board of Directors at a Board meeting held September 28, 2010 approved a rate increase of 4% on October1, 2010, and a 5% increase on October 1, 2011.
